1. What research use only means
What this section must establish
A plain definition of research use only, and that it describes the permitted use rather than a quality grade.
That the materials have not been evaluated or approved by any regulator for any use in humans or animals.
That no material sold here is a drug, food, cosmetic, dietary supplement, or medical device.
That labelling a material for research use does not make an otherwise unlawful use lawful.
02
2. The buyer attestation
What this section must establish
What the buyer attests to at checkout, and that the attestation is a condition of sale rather than an acknowledgement.
The consequence of attesting falsely.
That the attestation is retained as a compliance record and may be produced to a regulator.
How the system behaves today
The attestation must be accepted explicitly at checkout; it is not pre-ticked and cannot be skipped.
The exact text shown is stored with the acceptance, alongside the timestamp, IP address, and user agent.
The record is append-only in the database: it cannot be edited or deleted, including by Cryo Labs staff or application code.
An order cannot move past payment unless the attestation record exists.
Customers can review every attestation they have accepted, with dates, in their account.
03
3. Prohibited uses
What this section must establish
Administration to humans or animals, in any amount, by any route.
Any diagnostic, therapeutic, preventative, food, cosmetic, or household application.
Resale, relabelling, repackaging, or redistribution for any of the above.
Compounding into a product intended for human or veterinary use.
The steps Cryo Labs takes on becoming aware of a prohibited use.
04
4. No guidance on use
What this section must establish
That Cryo Labs does not provide protocols, quantities, schedules, preparation instructions, or any guidance on using the materials.
That no employee or representative is authorised to give such guidance, and that any purported guidance is void and must not be relied on.
Where a buyer should take questions about a compound instead: their own institution, their institutional review or safety body, or a qualified professional.
How the system behaves today
Product records hold specification data only. The catalogue has no field for effects, applications, benefits, or instructions, so none can be published.
Support tickets carry a fixed topic list covering orders, shipping, storage and handling, documentation, billing, and account access. There is no advisory topic.
The site contains no dosage calculator, dose log, scheduling tool, protocol builder, or cycle tracker, and none will be added.
05
5. Buyer responsibilities
What this section must establish
Determining that possession and intended research use are lawful in the buyer’s jurisdiction.
Safe handling, storage, containment, and disposal in line with institutional requirements.
Restricting access to the materials to qualified personnel.
Maintaining the records the buyer’s own regulator or institution requires.
How the system behaves today
Storage temperature is published for every product, and receiving and storage instructions are given on the Shipping & Storage page.
06
6. Documentation
What this section must establish
What a certificate of analysis establishes, and what it does not.
How long documentation remains available to a buyer.
How to request documentation for a past order.
How the system behaves today
A certificate of analysis is published against the lot supplied and can be downloaded from the product page. Cryo Labs does not perform the analysis; it commissions it from an independent laboratory. The panel covers identity, purity, and net content only.
Certificates are stored privately and served through short-lived signed links rather than public URLs.
07
7. Refusal and cancellation of orders
What this section must establish
Cryo Labs’ right to refuse, cancel, or refund any order without stating a reason.
Circumstances that will ordinarily lead to refusal, and that the list is not exhaustive.
That refusal is not an accusation and creates no liability.
08
8. Reporting a concern
What this section must establish
How to report a suspected prohibited use, a mislabelled shipment, or a documentation discrepancy.
